IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony Set for Glamorous Evening with Rashmika and Tamanna’s Performances

Ahmedabad, March 31, 2023 – The much-awaited IPL 2023 opening ceremony is scheduled for 6:00 PM IST today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Arijit Singh, the superstar singer, will serenade the crowd at the world’s largest cricket stadium.

Adding more glamour to the event, Rashmika Madanna and Tamanna Bhatia will also perform during the ceremony.

Following the grand event, defending champions Gujarat Titans will face Chennai Super Kings in the season opener at the same venue.

This opening ceremony will be the first since 2018, as the event was canceled in 2019 as a tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack, while Covid-19 restrictions prevented it from happening from 2020-2022.

The weather is expected to remain favorable for the opening ceremony and the match, with temperatures ranging from 33-27 degrees Celsius.

Fans eagerly await Tamanna and Rashmika’s performances, as both actresses have a significant following and have earned multiple awards in the South Indian film industry.

The IPL 2023 opening ceremony promises to be a memorable night, with lavish performances, fancy props, and plenty of excitement for cricket enthusiasts.

With new venues announced, this season’s IPL matches will be held across India, including Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati, and Dharamshala.

The upcoming season will consist of 70 league games with 18 doubleheaders.

In addition, each franchise will play seven home and away fixtures during the campaign.
