Chad Duell, the popular GENERAL HOSPITAL actor who portrays Michael, and his girlfriend, Luana Lucci, are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their baby boy.
Lucci, a flight attendant and model is now 20 weeks into her pregnancy, marking the halfway point.
The couple, expecting their first child together in early September, recently shared a glimpse of their growing son during an ultrasound appointment on social media.
In her post, Lucci expressed excitement and anxiety during each ultrasound. “19 weeks pregnant. Every time we have to do an ultrasound, we get so excited and anxious simultaneously,” she wrote.
This anxiety is because Lucci’s pregnancy has been deemed high-risk due to potential health concerns for her, the baby, or both.
“So seeing him thriving and healthy is so amazing,” she admitted. “We cannot wait to meet him!”
The post also featured a bump update and a heartwarming photo of Lucci and Duell embracing in the bedroom of their new home, which they recently moved into together.
Additionally, Lucci included two videos of the ultrasound, showing Baby Boy Duell moving his hands in front of his face and grabbing his toes.
She expressed her wish for a better-quality ultrasound so that they could see their baby more clearly.
Lucci’s pregnancy was classified as high-risk shortly after she made another candid post about the challenges she has faced since announcing the pregnancy.
The Brazilian native, who had been quite active on social media, revealed that the negative comments and hate she received on Instagram caused her anxiety and PTSD, forcing her to step back from posting.
“I have not looked in my [direct messages] in so long, fearing I will see something disgusting and mean. It is hard to understand how adults can bully someone they know nothing about and make assumptions.”
Despite the hurtful remarks from strangers, Lucci encouraged her followers to “be kind” to others.
We join her in this sentiment and extend our best wishes to Lucci and Duell for health, happiness, and good luck as they continue their journey toward parenthood.
