Soap opera fans may have noticed that Steffy, a character on the popular show THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, has recently been seen carrying lots of big bags.
That is because the actress who portrays Steffy, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, is pregnant with her fourth child!
Jacqueline and her husband, Elan Ruspoli, were unsurprised by the news as they had been actively trying to have another baby.
The couple already has three children together: Rise, who is four years old; Lenix, who is two years old; and Brando, who is one year old.
Despite having three boys, Jacqueline revealed that she does not have a strong preference for the gender of their new addition.
“I do not care,” she confided.
“We just want a big family. People often ask if we are trying for a girl, but I think four children is a nice and even number, and this will be the last one. I believe we are good with that.”
Jacqueline also shared that her experience growing up as an only child and her husband being an only child also played a role in their desire for a big family.
They are excited to provide their children with the experience of having siblings.
Balancing Work and Motherhood
Being pregnant while working is no small feat, and Jacqueline faces the additional challenge of balancing her role on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL with being a mother of three.
However, she expressed gratitude for the show’s support and accommodation.
“The show has been extremely accommodating,” Jacqueline explained. “I would not want it any other way. I love working in Los Angeles, close to my home. The schedule is demanding, like boot camp. We work non-stop. However, they have arranged my schedule to allow me to focus on my work and return to being a mom.”
Despite her busy schedule, Jacqueline still finds time for herself and enjoys life.
She believes that mothers give their all in everything they do because time is limited.
So, when they can go out with friends, they make the most of it and have a great time.
Looking Forward to the Future
