Volvo Group Venture Capital AB has invested strategically in Aifleet, a U.S. trucking company that leverages AI technology to address key inefficiencies in the trucking industry.
Aifleet focuses on improving truck utilization and enhancing the driver experience, two critical areas that have long challenged the sector.
“Aifleet is increasing the utilization of trucks and creating an optimized working environment for drivers,” said Joe Darcy, Investor at Volvo Group Venture Capital.
Founded in 2020, aifleet operates in the full-truckload (FTL) segment, a $400 billion market that remains fragmented and inefficient.
Aifleet’s proprietary technology has enabled the company to achieve 40% higher driver utilization compared to industry averages, setting a new standard for efficiency in trucking.
“We’re excited about Volvo’s investment and look forward to further utilizing our AI technology to create a more sustainable and efficient fleet,” said Marc El Khoury, co-founder and CEO of aifleet.
The investment aligns with Volvo Group’s focus on innovation and sustainability in transportation.
“Aifleet’s technology and vision align with our goals of driving innovation in the industry,” said Stephen Roy, Chairman of Volvo Group North America.
