Copenhagen, Denmark – G2 Esports triumphed in the grand final of the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024, defeating Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) with a decisive 3-1 scoreline on Sunday.
The victory secured G2 a $200,000 prize and qualified them for next month’s World Final, which boasts a staggering $1,000,000 prize pool.
The best-of-five final showcased G2’s dominance.
They quickly surged to a 2-0 lead, claiming victories on Ancient (13-9) and Dust II (13-11).
Although Natus Vincere managed to rally back with a win on Mirage (13-11), G2 clinched the match with a final victory on Inferno, closing it out 13-7.
Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov led the charge for G2 with an impressive performance, racking up 77 kills and maintaining a plus-29 kill-to-death differential.
Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa contributed significantly with 67 kills and a plus-13 K-D ratio.
Despite their loss, Natus Vincere walked away with $85,000 and 2,200 BLAST points.
Justinas “jL” Lekavicius was the standout player for Na’Vi, finishing with 68 kills and a plus-6 differential.
G2’s win at the Fall Final marks their entry into the World Final, which will be held from October 30 to November 8 in Sentosa, Singapore.
